WiFi Update

The line provider (any guess who that could be?!) have informed our installers that it will not be completed before mid May 2017. As you can imagine we are very ticked off! We would like to clarify with our customers that Laneside has not played any part in this delay. We have installed all our internal cables and put the infrastructure in place to go live. The only thing we are missing is the leased line itself.
Anyone visiting Laneside before the end May 2017 please be aware that a wifi signal cannot be guaranteed. We are running off a domestic broadband which can not cope with demand when we are busy. During quitter times when the demand is less you can connect. Some of the pubs and cafes in the village have free Wi Fi for those who desperately need access and there is a 4G signal to site.
We will keep you all posted.

Derbyshire County Council are planning to carry out surface dressing work to repair and maintain the road surface in the local area.
WHERE IS THE WORK TAKING PLACE?
The road works will be on Castleton Road using stop/go boards between Pindale Road and Squires Lane.
WHEN WILL THIS WORK TAKE PLACE?
The work will take place Monday 23 May between 9 30am and 3 30pm and they will then return at a later date to undertake the white lining. Please note that all planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unexpected circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs.
