2015 is upon us and all on site is going well. Joris, Ian and Bella the dog have been filling up gabion cages by the river for the past 6 weeks and the end is in sight. It takes a lot of work at the end of the season to keep on top of our river defences and the boys have done a brilliant job.

Next on the to-do list is to dig a big trench at the back of F row for new electric equipment. Let’s hope the weather stays fine for them. We hope your all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Only 9 weeks till opening day!

Snake Pass Closure

The A57 Snake Pass will close to all users from Doctors Gate to Hagg Farm for four weeks from 26th September 2022 to allow an investigation into the cause of a landslip can take place.

IMPROVING LOCAL ROADS - SURFACE DRESSING WORK 2022

Derbyshire County Council are planning to carry out surface dressing work to repair and maintain the road surface in the local area.

WHERE IS THE WORK TAKING PLACE?

The road works will be on Castleton Road using stop/go boards between Pindale Road and Squires Lane.

WHEN WILL THIS WORK TAKE PLACE?

The work will take place Monday 23 May between 9 30am and 3 30pm and they will then return at a later date to undertake the white lining. Please note that all planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unexpected circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs.
