Welcome to our enchanting Shepherd's Hut, affectionally named ‘Jacks Hut’ after our late Grandad Jack, who used to Farm Laneside before it was turned into the Caravan Park. A hidden gem, nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Peak District. Perfect for a romantic retreat or an active adventure, our cosy hut offers unrestricted access to the pristine waters of the River Noe. This small river winds its way through an area of outstanding beauty and teems with diverse wildlife.

Our Shepherd's Hut features a comfortable double bed for a peaceful night's sleep, making it an ideal romantic getaway for couples.

You'll find a delightful log burner in the living room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Curl up with your loved one and enjoy a movie night on the smart TV, or bask in the crackling warmth of the log fire.

The kitchen, though petite, is well-equipped, allowing you to prepare simple meals during your stay. The bathroom boasts a spacious shower and toilet facilities for a luxury touch. Bring your furry friends along, as we happily welcome pets to join in the adventure.

There is a bespoke-made veranda that wraps around the hut. It stands over 4 ft high with step access and safety rails. It offers a beautiful elevated outdoor space to sit and unwind, overlooking Mam Tour and the River Noe.

It offers an excellent way to enjoy the fresh air while staying protected from the elements.

It comes with an end bathroom with a cassette toilet, sink, and plenty of storage cupboards. Oven, grill, hob, sink, and full-size fridge with a small freezer compartment, Microwave, and crockery. TV and radio are also supplied with central heating too.

All you need to bring is your bedding, sheet, pillows, a duvet, toiletries & towels.

Coffee and tea etc., we sell in our shop on-site for you to purchase if you forget to bring your own.

        Bella the Caravan and Surrounding Area

 The caravan is ideal for resting if you have been walking all day. The two sofas form a double bed or can be used as two small individual sleepers. The underlying mattress (pulled out sofa) is thick and very comfortable. There is a lounge/dining area with two sofas and a table which are perfect for planning your days ahead, reading or eating your dinner. The gas cooker and sink are large and useful for preparing your meals and washing up. The small fridge is good for keeping your groceries fresh, though will not fit large containers. To save later cleaning of toilet and water disposable unit I used the caravan park's excellent shower and toilet facilities. These are cleaned every day and are close to the caravan. There is no noise from the campsite and a warden checks the noise level at 10.30pm. This is great for getting a goodnight sleep ahead of a day's touring. The nearest road is a bit busy but as soon as you head into the hills, the views and silence are astounding.
