You can now book to stay at Laneside Caravan Park for Christmas and New Year. It is a 4 night minimum from the 20th December 2024 to our closing date on 2nd January 2025. You can not arrive on Christmas Day or New Years day. We also ask for no more than 2 units per booking. For more details please take a look at our Terms & Conditions.

One of the biggest events over the winter period is the various switching on of the Christmas Lights. The closest one to us is Castleton, 2 miles down the road. It is a great afternoon with lots of fun for all the family. Including a parade down the high street with a very special guest in his sleigh!

The A57 Snake Pass will close to all users from Doctors Gate to Hagg Farm for four weeks from 26th September 2022 to allow an investigation into the cause of a landslip can take place.
Derbyshire County Council are planning to carry out surface dressing work to repair and maintain the road surface in the local area.
WHERE IS THE WORK TAKING PLACE?
The road works will be on Castleton Road using stop/go boards between Pindale Road and Squires Lane.
WHEN WILL THIS WORK TAKE PLACE?
The work will take place Monday 23 May between 9 30am and 3 30pm and they will then return at a later date to undertake the white lining. Please note that all planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unexpected circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs.
