The weather hasn’t held them back as much as last year so it's all guns blazing! Joris, Ian and Paul have dug out the groundwork ready for the car park extension and lots of general tiding, chopping and digging has been going on since we closed on November 11th.
The A57 Snake Pass will close to all users from Doctors Gate to Hagg Farm for four weeks from 26th September 2022 to allow an investigation into the cause of a landslip can take place.
Derbyshire County Council are planning to carry out surface dressing work to repair and maintain the road surface in the local area.
WHERE IS THE WORK TAKING PLACE?
The road works will be on Castleton Road using stop/go boards between Pindale Road and Squires Lane.
WHEN WILL THIS WORK TAKE PLACE?
The work will take place Monday 23 May between 9 30am and 3 30pm and they will then return at a later date to undertake the white lining. Please note that all planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unexpected circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs.
