Laneside Caravan Park, Hope Valley
We were first established in the 1950’s by Jack Elliott and it is now in its 3rd generation. Laneside is a sheltered site with mature trees, hedges and shrubs.

Post and rail fences along with hedges separate the main pitching areas which helps Laneside to blend into its beautiful countryside surroundings.

We cater for families and quiet couples and don’t accept single sex groups or unaccompanied teenagers to ensure your stay with us shall be a peaceful one.

The River Noe

River Noe

The River Noe, which runs through the site, offers hours of entertainment for the children who paddle up and down the steam making dams and having water fights. When they get bored of this they can have a kick about on the football pitch across the river or have a game of boules on the boules court.

The river is also home to an array of wildlife and many an hour can be spent in peace looking out for the Kingfisher, Heron or ducks that would be wild – if our visitors didn’t spoil them rotten- One visitor listed 47 different species of birds sighted here in one week!

Unfortunately fishing is not allowed on this river but see the local attraction page for the nearest fishing location to us.

We also offer seasonal pitches and static holiday homes and information on these can be found on the appropriate pages above.

Walks & Mountains

Hope Valley
Looking north we face Win Hill, Lose Hill, and the high gritstone hills of The Dark Peak; looking south are the gentler rolling limestone hills of The White Peak.

The park is on the floor of The Hope Valley and we are surrounded on all sides by hill & riverside footpaths, making us a perfect location for the avid walker.

Edale and the start of the Pennine way are 4 miles up the valley, the soaring edges of Curbar and Froggat 4 miles down.

Hope Village

Hope Village
We do not have a club on site because we live in one of the loveliest places in Britain and cater for people who want to enjoy the countryside.

A big advantage we have is the nearness of Hope village, which is a short 5 minute walk, where you have a super choice of real-ale country pubs with excellent food, a well-stocked Spar shop and a farm shop.

There is also an Indian restaurant that deliver free to site. To download a village map please see the bottom of this page.

Electric Field

Electric Pitches
Laneside Caravan Park has an adult only electric field to the right of the entrance drive which is ideal for retired couples taking advantage of our mid-week discounted rate (see Tariff page for more details).

In this field is our reception office which boast a well-stocked shop and a 24 hour information room with a freezer where you can re freeze your ice packs for free.
