Stella’s Kitchen, Eyam

f you want a bit of Caribbean flair to spice up your pallet, Stella’s Kitchen in Eyam is the place for you. Based out of a stunning farmhouse, authentic Afro-Caribbean recipes are available for takeaways. You can even cook with Stella to gain first-hand knowledge of the tricks of the trade. On Fridays and Saturdays, you can enjoy an Afro-Caribbean buffet, while Sunday roasts are also available, as is the sample menu for you to try some of the culinary delights.

Cheshire Cheese Inn, Hope

This 16th-century dining pub offers real ale, home-cooked food, open fires and easy access to the plethora of Peak District walks on its doorstep. This dog-friendly pub with a rich history is close to Chatsworth House, Longshaw Estate, Mam Tor, Derwent Reservoirs, and the caverns at Castleton. The vegan-friendly pub also uses the best local ingredients to produce unforgettable food. The name of the Cheshire Cheese Inn originates from it being an overnight stopping point on the old salt-carrying route from Cheshire across the Pennines to Yorkshire, where payment would be made in cheese.
