Holiday Homes...

We have a license for 26 Holiday Homes. The turnover on these is usually very low - but most years we have two or three new or previously-owned homes for sale. New homes are about £30,000 to £45,000: used can be anything from £15,000 to £30,000. If you have an interest in a holiday home you couldn't do better in Derbyshire than Laneside. The Holiday Home area is quiet; it's separate from the touring / camping park and quite free of coming and going traffic.

Every year we have a choice of models.

We had two park homes available this season. One was used but near new having had only one season's use and ready for inspection and occupancy. The other was brand new and has just been delivered here.

Attached is the outline specification and price of the two models. The used static is so new, we will consider it new to the purchaser so they will get a full 17 years tenure at Laneside.

Do please note that whilst visiting children and (especially!) grandchildren are very welcome, we find that holiday homes are not suitable for families with young children or teenagers who would come every week - and get bored...

Regrettably it is not possible to bring a Park Home from off-site here. We have only a license for 29 and there is no prospect of the number we are licensed for being increased.

We sold the two holiday homes below within 3 weeks of them being listed and there will not be any more available until the 2012 season. If however you are interested in owning a park home at Laneside, please email us and we will put your name on our list and contact you when one becomes available – or when we order one for the coming season. Obviously there is no obligation. It is helpful if you can give us an idea of what standard of park home you might be interested in. They vary in price from roughly £15,000 to £25,000 used or £10,000 to £40,000+ new, according to size and specification.

We are however leaving the descriptions of the two park homes which have been sold as this gives a good idea of the sort of thing you get for your money.

SITE FEES

THE 2011 SITE FEES ARE £1810. There are no “hidden extras” – water and mains drain services are included. The only on-costs are consumables: electricity and gas. These obviously vary considerably with usage but for modern centrally-heated, double glazed holiday homes, budget for about £250 in a season.

TERMS

Whilst our standard conditions assume that purchasers raises their own finance, terms can be arranged based upon 25% deposit and the balance over a period to be agreed.

The park is open from the second week in March until the first week in November
